Of dog parks developed

Nearly a decade spent figuring out what actually makes dog parks work.

Dog Park Advisors is built on close to twenty years of hands-on experience: ten years building and refining dog parks across the country, five years in the pet industry, and five years in apartment management. That range gives me a perspective on dog parks that most consultants simply can't match.

I understand what owners want, what property managers need, and what actually holds up over time. I also understand that creating a dog park can feel like an intimidating project, so I work to eliminate the pain points and make the process seamless and even fun.

I've helped develop hundreds of dog parks, collaborating with municipalities, HOAs, property managers, contractors, and landscape architects from coast to coast. Whether the project is a compact apartment amenity or a 10-acre community park, I bring the same practical, proven approach to every engagement.

Christina, with Banjo

Hi, I'm Christina, founder of Dog Park Advisors.

Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. They're the reason I ended up in this industry, and the reason I never left it.

I spent nearly a decade at a dog park equipment manufacturer, working with cities, property managers, and developers on hundreds of projects. Over those years I kept noticing the same thing: people would call in excited to build a dog park but with no idea where to start. What size did they need? What surfacing would hold up? How do you separate small dogs from large ones, plan for drainage, or budget the whole thing? They needed real guidance, not just a product catalog.

That's why I started Dog Park Advisors, to offer something the industry was missing: independent, vendor-neutral consulting focused entirely on what's best for each client, not on selling a particular product line.

I live in Seattle with my two dogs, Banjo, my Labrador, and Frankie, my pug, and we're at a dog park almost every day. It keeps me close to what actually works, what doesn't, and what makes a park genuinely enjoyable for dogs and the people who bring them.

When I'm not designing dog parks or working with clients, you'll usually find me hiking Pacific Northwest trails, practicing yoga, playing music, or exploring the city with Banjo, Frankie, and my husband. I believe great dog parks do more than give dogs room to run. They bring communities together, encourage healthier lifestyles, and create places where dogs and their people thrive.

Whether you're planning a brand new park or reimagining an existing one, I'd love to help you build a space dogs will love for years to come.
